Capcom hints that Dante might cut his hair in Devil May Cry 5

Remember when DmC’s Dante had short, black hair and people went nuts? It was great.

Well, there’s a chance DMC5’s Dante might decide to lop off his wavy locks at some point in the game. During the debut trailer, we see Dante riding into battle on a motorcycle, hair blowing in the wind.

I wondered if we’d be seeing a wiser Dante, since he’s clearly much older in this game, or whether he’d still be the brash, cocky asshole we all know and love. I mean, he’s riding a motorbike with no helmet on and that hair is getting in his eyes. He clearly hasn’t grown up just yet.

“Unfortunately we can’t reveal too much about Dante yet, but I’m confident that you’ll be happy with how he turns out in DMC5,” producer Matt Walker tells me. “His hair may be impractical for motorcycle riding in that particular scene, but he might just wise up and do something to make that motorcycle riding more manageable.”

Please cut his hair off, Capcom. Please do it. Make him an egg. Make him look like Ross Kemp enjoying the World Cup too much. Please.
