Detroit: Become Human demo coming tomorrow as game goes gold
Detroit: Become Human is part of a rare breed of AAA games that get demos before launch.
Sony has announced that Detroit: Become Human has gone gold, meaning developer Quantic Dreams is now able to get the discs pressed and be ready for launch.
Going gold is not the only big news for Detroit today, as the developer has announced that a demo will be available tomorrow across all regions of PSN. In fact, if you live in Australia or New Zealand, you can download it right now.
For players everywhere else, the demo should start rolling out at 12:01am EST / 5:01am UK tomorrow, April 24. The Detroit: Become Human demo includes the first scene in the game, called Hostage, where you'll be playing as android Connor, one of the game's main characters.
Quantic Dreams also cooked up a little something with Amazon's Alexa. Through the the Cyberlife Alexa Skill, the AI assistant will be able to provide a few details about the game's world, and some guidance in how to diffuse the situation.
We recently got the chance to play a good chunk of the game, and were impressed by how it's evolved. Phil Iwaniuk has high hopes Detroit will be Quantic Dream’s best game to date.
Detroit: Become Human is out May 25 on PS4.
