Detroit: Become Human Romance guide, Best Endings, Voice actors, and more.

Detroit: Become Human features a non-linear story told through branching paths governed by a range of player choices. Almost every character can die, drastically altering the narrative. This extends to the main characters, who can die from the very first scenes they're in. This results in multiple endings depending on what choices were made by the player. This Detroit: Become Human Worst Ending Guide will detail the absolute worst case scenario, and give you some tips on how best to get to it.

How to Get the Worst Ending

There are many endings that you can get in Detroit: Become Human, so we're going to be detailing the very worst of them. This ending presents a scenario where all of the key characters are dead, and the android revolution ends in failure. Follow these steps to get the worst ending in Detroit: Become Human.

In order to unlock the worst ending in the game, you need to ensure that the following characters die at the earliest possible moment:

  • Kara
  • Markus
  • Connor
  • Hank
  • Alice

Kara & Alice Death

In order to kill Kara early on, you'll need to fail a QTE in the On the Run chapter of the game. When crossing the street with Alice, you'll be given the option to get out of the way of oncoming cars. Simply let each timer run out and eventually Kara will be killed, followed shortly by Alice who runs into the road to save her.

Markus Death

In the Freedom March chapter of the game you'll be presented with a choice on how to react to the military stand-off. First off, select "stand your ground". After that, choose the "Charge" option, which will result in Markus getting shot and killed.

Connor Death

Connor dies a lot in Detroit: Become Human, but usually gets re-deployed as a new model. If you choose to stay on the path of the law and avoid turning deviant, Connor will eventually be confronted by the police on a rooftop. Choose to "Fight" and then fail the following quick time events. This will end in Connor getting a bullet between the eyes, before he has a chance to upload his memory.

Hank Death

Hank is a troubled character throughout the game, and can be redeemed via a friendship with Connor. Without this friendship though, and with Connor refusing to go deviant, Hank ends up Shooting himself in the head. Just pick the "goodbye" option when Connor visits Hank at his house.

Killing off these characters will significantly cut down the length of the game, and result in the deviant androids being eliminated during the Battle for Detroit. It's the worst ending the game has to offer, with losses all around for the game's main characters.
