Destiny weekly reset for August 22 – Nightfall, Crucible, Challenge of Elders, featured raid changes detailed

Though we're neck-deep in gamescom news, we still have time to do the Destiny weekly reset.

Just like every week, a new reset brings a refreshed slate of activities for everyone. That includes a new Nightfall, new Prison and Challenge of Elders bosses, fresh Crucible playlists, a new featured raid and more.

Weekly Nightfall

It's The Shadow Thief this week with triple burn of Solar, Arc, and Void. Modifiers Ironclad, and Daybreak are also active.

Ironclad increases the number of enemies with shields. Daybreak greatly increases ability recharge rate.

Heroic playlist modifiers

Specialist, Exposure, Airborne.

Crucible playlist

Zone Control.

Challenge of Elders

Fresh Troops, Small Arms, Melee Kill Bonus.

• Round 2: Pilot Servitor (Fallen)
• Round 3: Sylok, the Defiled (Hive)

Weekly featured raid

The Vault of Glass is back as this week's featured raid. All challenge modes are active, but seeing as this raid didn't have challenge modes to begin with, there's been a number of changes you'll need to be aware of.
