Video recreates moment The Traveler in Destiny arrived above Earth

Here's something interesting: UK YouTuber Alan Ismail aka ‘MoreConsole’ teamed up recently with Activision to recreate the moment The Traveler in Destiny arrived above Earth. Watch below how it turned out.

In the video, you see Ismail and a engineer Steve Randall launch a weather balloon model of The Traveler into near space.

The video captures the balloon in the atmosphere as it goes as high as 107,841 feet above Earth.

If you are unaware, the lore in Destiny covers the discovery of The Traveler which was the "herald to Earth’s Golden Age." During this time, a now lost civilization explored the Solar System and built colonies on Mars and Venus - the ruins of which you explore in the game.

The Traveler is found floating in the game above the last "safe city" on Earth.

Destiny is out next week.
