Per Arekkz Gaming, the chest piece come with a standard 290 defense level -as opposed to the 30 level 280 - and the following two perks already available:

Iron to Gold: Chance to gain Glimmer on Primary ammo pickups and when Orbs are collected when your Super Shield is full will recharge your grenades and melee. It doesn't seem to drop too much Glimmer, but if you go to a Glimmer farming area such as the Exclusion Zone with a Glimmer multiplier enacted, AND pick up ammo as you go, it will add to what you are already making.

Infuse: Consume a more powerful piece of armor to boost the chest piece's defense value.

The other three columns have switchable nodes to choose from: increase strength bonus, intellect bonus, the amount of special or heavy ammo that drops, add Void burn effects which reduces incoming Void damage, or Void armor which increases armor when using a Void-based subclass.

Like all new Exotic armor, shaders will change the colors of your armor, but the main decoration in the center of this particular piece stays the same color.

It sounds as though it's a nice bit of kit if you want to collect lots of Glimmer. If you head over to the armory on the Bungie website, you can have a closer look at it.
