Destiny: what is this secret room in the King's Fall raid?

If you're willing to perform some precision platforming in King's Fall raid in Destiny, you'll find yourself in a hidden room that the game's community is trying to figure out what it's for.
Our Destiny expert Alex - just like the rest of community - is trying to crack the codes Bungie left in a hidden room in the King's Fall raid.
The room features the same Relic and statues mechanic found throughout the raid itself. As it is right now, once all six Relics are dunked into the statue, the runes light up and players enter overcharge mode. Going out of the room removes the buff, so something must be done from inside it.
A common guess is that it's possibly tied to the Heroic version of King's Fall, which is due sometime this year.
