Destiny: The Taken King delivers a Nigthfall-tier PvP activity

Destiny: The Taken King finally gives PvP players a weekly ritual on par with the Nightfall.

As part of Destiny: The Taken King's Crucible overhaul, Bungie is introducing a new weekly PvP bounty called The True Meaning of War.

This bounty is completed by tackling weekly PvP quests, which are available after players finish Shaxx's short Crucible intro quest chain.

If you manage it , you'll receive Nightfall-tier rewards, which often include Exotics and Legendaries.

"In Year One, we didn't have a good weekly ritual experience for PVP players," The Taken King creative director Luke Smith said in the latest Bungie Weekly Update.

As with Nightfall and the new Vanguard Heroic Strike playlist, you'll need to defeat Oyrx to access these endgame activities.

Destiny: The Taken King launches on September 15 on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
