Destiny: The Taken King - Exotic changes and year-two transfer list

They're exotics, Jim, but not as you know them.

Bungie's making massive changes to the way Destiny's exotics work in The Taken King, essentially consigning the most popular yellow weapons to history by not allowing them to be upgraded to year-two damage levels.

A new blueprint system is also being implemented, allowing you to pick up create a new version of your exotics on demand, provided you've already found them in-game.

Below is a list of all known changes to existing exotics in terms of whether or not they're going to be viable against the year-two content. That's right: Gjallarhorn doesn't make the cut.
