Destiny Xur update: should you buy Patience and Time?

Xur is selling Patience and Time today, an Exotic sniper rifle. Is it worth the Strange Coins?

Xur's Exotic weapon of choice for this weekend is the Patience and Time sniper rifle. The decision to buy it or not will depend on what you want to use it for.

Patience and Time is the second famous Exotic sniper rifle in Destiny, after Ice Breaker of course. The weapon is good to have if you don't currently own an Arc sniper rifle.

The Third Eye and Patience and Time perks are particularly helpful in PvP. The first keeps your radar shown while you're zoomed-in, while the other gives you active camouflage, also while zoomed-in.

Our Destiny expert Alex says it doesn't have enough impact to stun Skolas in the Prison of Elders, so if you're a PvE-only person, it may be be worth waiting for the Breaker, but they're both very good.
