Destiny: Rise of Iron - all known Exotic quests for A Life Exotic

A Life Exotic is probably not going to be completed during Destiny: Rise of Iron's launch week, let's face it.

Destiny: Rise of Iron includes a cool new feature - the Rise of Iron Record Book.

Functioning similarly to the Sparrow Racing League and Year 2 Moments of Triumphs Record Books, the Rise of Iron Record Book presents multiple pages of challenges and rewards the faithful with the Days of Iron armour set, among other goodies.

A Life Exotic requires players to complete all Exotic Quests in Destiny: Rise of Iron. To clarify, not every Exotic is obtained through an Exotic quest - many are just lucky random engram drops or quest rewards. Nemesis Star and Young Wolf's Howl are examples.

Here are the four quests you'll need to complete o round out the A Life Exotic Record Book entry in Destiny: Rise of Iron.

  • Year 3 Gjallarhorn/Iron Gjallarhorn Exotic rocket launcher

This quest opens up automatically when you arrive at the Iron Temple on Felwinter Peak and get to know the locals, but you can't actually start it until you've finished the core Rise of Iron storyline. The quest is relatively straightforward although there's some collecting involved.

  • Khvostov 7G-0X Exotic auto rifle

A pretty easy Exotic quest to stumble upon - break down your faithful Khvostov Commona auto rifle from the very start of vanilla Destiny, or search the Fallen ship in the Plaguelands for a schematic in a quest. The journey is almost as good as the prize.

  • Year 3 Thorn

Unfortunately, this Exotic Quest is a Bounty type - you can't trigger it manually. Just keep turning in bounties, especially to Shiro-4, and hope you get lucky. When RNGesus favours you, you'll be on your way to grabbing this Crucible favourite.

  • Outbreak Prime Exotic pulse rifle

The Exotic quest you want is Channeling the Corruption, but to get it you'll need a raid team and two comrades to help you out thereafter. Be brave, Guardians; they say it's worth it.
