Bungie has confirmed some of what's coming next week to Destiny in the latest weekly update. Iron Banner is coming, bringing new armour and weapons for you to earn.

Clash is the chosen gamemode this time around. The event starts Tuesday, February 23 at 10am PST, and goes on through 1am PST on Tuesday, March 1.

Bungie also said it "might even deploy" new matchmaking changes that favour connection quality over skill, which are the result of recent heated community discussions.

Here's what you stand to earn:

Available from Lord Saladin

  • Rank 3: Gauntlets, PlayStation Gauntlets
  • Rank 4: Helmet, PlayStation Helmet, Sniper Rifle
  • Rank 5: Rocket Launcher

Available as post-game drops

  • Rank 2: Gauntlets, PlayStation Gauntlets
  • Rank 3: Helmet, Sniper Rifle
  • Rank 4: Rocket Launcher

Bungie also revealed that the Daily Heroic mission on Saturday, February 20, will not award you Legendary Marks as it always does. The developer said this is due to an issue it's tracking, but didn't provide further details.

As for the Crimson Days 320LL Ghost many players have yet to receive, the developer said those eligible should expect it by February 23.
