Destiny's second stop is Earth's own Moon, where Guardians will skirmish among the corpses of colonists and descend into the depths to face nightmares.

Destiny is set well after humanity has conceded the Moon to the forces of Darkness. The Fallen maintain a presence here, and you'll find them in force among the structures left over from Earth's expansion.

The real enemy are the Hive, who have made our satellite their own. They've burrowed deep into the Moon, almost hollowing it, and filled it up with temples and - well, to be honest, we have no idea what these structures do, because we barely understand the Hive themselves. What are these machines? These altars? These chambers? These chains? You'll find out the answer to one of those questions, possibly.

There are several missions on the Moon, and many challenges to face. The difficulty has jumped since Earth, and if you've rushed up here without thoroughly exploring the Cosmodrome you may be in for a bit of a shock. The loot is much better though, so you won't struggle for long.
