Destiny convention raises $3.7 million for St. Jude's with Bungie support

Guardian Con, a Miami-based Destiny convention, raised more than $3.7 million during its 2019 Twitch livestream benefitting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The livestream started June 16 and ended June 23. Groups, such as Achievement Hunter and What's Good Games, filled time slots throughout, playing games and collecting donations. Being a Destiny convention, Bungie participated in the stream, raising more than $400,000 during its time slot. In a Tweet, Guardian Con said it was the largest contribution in a single time slot ever:

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is an organization that leads the fight against childhood cancer through education, treatment, and research.
