Here are some of the new places you'll go in the Destiny beta

Destiny beta players will get to see more of Earth and beyond than were featured in the alpha, if we're correctly interpreting a couple of teasing references from Bungie.

The Destiny beta will include a couple of locations, Bungie apparently confirmed in a tweet, showing off a screenshot of one such destination.

The screenshot had previously been published in the company's weekly update along with a second unknown location. It doesn't seem unreasonable to assume the two are a pair, and that both locations will be available in the beta. Take a look at the screens below.

Additionally, MP1st reports coordinates found on the Destiny Beta website point to the Moon. The Moon was available as a crucible map in the alpha, but was not explorable, unfortunately.

The Destiny Beta kicks off on PlayStation 3 and PS4 on July 17, and opens to Xbox 360 and Xbox One shortly thereafter. The only guaranteed mode of entry is via pre-ordering.
