Destiny 2's new Director cuts out going to orbit when switching activities for a seamless experience

Get ready for new adventures and easier navigation in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 is getting a ton of new features, and one of the best - in my opinion - is the all new director.

Going into orbit to switch activities will be a thing of the past.

"Players can pick a landing zone, explore, and seamlessly jump into other activities in game."

What makes the whole experience even better is that the "other activities" will flesh out the content, adding all sorts of new experiences.

You can play self-contained stories to find out more about the Destiny 2 universe in Adventures. While exploring, you can discover Lost Sectors which are "scattered, enemy dungeon layers throughout the world you can discover with unique boss enemies guarding treasure to earn."

Public events will be returning, but with the new director, you'll be able to navigate them on the map.
