Destiny 2: the first Bungie Bounty can be claimed in the Crucible tomorrow for PS4 players

The first Bungie Bounty, which will let a few players claim a new emblem if they're matched with a specific team and manage to beat them, will go live on PS4 tomorrow.

Bungie has announced that the first bounty will be a bit tricker than usual, with the member of the community nominated not going it alone - they'll be joined by a trio of Bungie employees.

Any player able to take down 'Gigz' and his team will be able to score the emblem. Of course if you've read up on our huge Destiny 2 guide and sorted through the best Legendary weapons you'll have no trouble winning, but actually ending up in a game with Gigz requires some luck.

If you play Competitive Crucible on your PS4, between 8 and 10pm (Pacific) on September 27, you may run into the team. Aside from Gigz, it will consist of:

  • imtylerdurden – Josh Hamrick, Senior Designer
  • Tocom – Kevin Yanes, Senior Designer
  • Cozmo_BNG – Community Manager

They're (presumably) not going to make things easy, but if you manage to take defeat Gigz and the gang you get the Sign of Mutual Combat emblem (pictured above), which will appear in players' vaults within a week.

This is just the first of many bounties, of course - the next one will be on Xbox One.
