Destiny 2 getting Solstice of Heroes event in July, experimental PvP content this month
Bungie has outlined the remainder of Destiny 2's content map for the summer.
Now that Destiny 2: Warmind is out in the wild, Bungie has shifted focus onto fleshing out the previously revealed summer road map.
The first stop on the roadmap is patch 1.2.1, due for release May 29. This update will bring improvements to Faction Rallies and changes to Exotic Armour, but the most interesting is something called Crucible Labs.
Not too many details about Crucible Labs are available at this time, but Bungie confirmed it'll be a way for the developer to get community feedback on "experimental PvP content" before it's available to the wider audience. It sounds like a test server, and though Bungie didn't explicitly say this, it promised to share more before May 29.
On the events side, players can look forward to a new event called Solstice of Heroes, due in July. This event will allow players to "celebrate their accomplishments" and earn new rewards.
July is also when we're getting the promised Bounties, Prestige mode for the two raid lairs, clan text chat on PC, the Year 1 Triumphs, and even more Exotic Armour changes.
In September, other community-requested features such as gear collections, records, and weapon randomisation will be deployed. More on these to be announced at a later date.
