Destiny 2: Season of Dawn - How to get Devil's Ruin Exotic sidearm

There's a new Exotic weapon in town and this time you're on the hunt for a Solar sidearm.

Now that you've found Saint-14, it's time to go on the lookout for new gear. This week sees the introduction of a new Exotic weapon quest and the Legend Sundial.

The first Exotic quest in the Season of Dawn rewards you with the Devil's Ruin Solar sidearm. It comes with the Close the Gap intrinsic perk, which provides it with a variable trigger that allows you to press and hold for a high-powered, staggering laser or fire as you would normally for single shots. It also comes with Pyrogenesis, where fully charging the laser refills the mag from reserves.

This quest is surprisingly short and very easy, so you should be able to manage it on your own in about half an hour. With that in mind, let's get started.

How to get Devil's Ruin Exotic sidearm

To begin, you'll need to start the Lost Relic quest from Saint-14, which requires you to complete a Sundial run and defeat enemies. It doesn't need to be any specific kind of enemies or difficulty, either; just a standard run will do. Afterwards, interact with the console in the middle of the area and choose the quest step A Moment in Time and the timelost weapon frame.

Speak with Saint-14 again and he'll send you off to Twilight Gap in the EDZ for a special mission. You need to collect weapon fragments, so choose the Parts Long Lost mission in the EDZ to begin.

There are 10 Crucible robots hidden around the area that you need to find to gather the parts. They all look like dead Shaxx, which is a bit freaky. Once you've done that, the Devil's Ruin sidearm is yours.
