Destiny 2 isn't running on Ryzen 3000 series CPUs right now, but Bungie is working on a fix
Destiny 2 players running the game on Ryzen's new 3000 series CPUs aren't able to start the game right now, but developer Bungie is aware of the problem and sussing out a solution.
Users on Reddit and the official Destiny forums started reporting the issue Monday, the same day Ryzen's new line of CPUs launched. Players completed their new PC builds, excited to run Destiny 2 on max settings, only to find that the game wouldn't boot from the Battlenet launcher. One user even went as far as doing multiple re-installs of Windows, without success.
Bungie is on the job though, replying to users to let them know they've escalated the issue at the studio.
Destiny 2's next major expansion, Shadowkeep, launches on September 17 alongside a new season called Season of the Undying. Here's what we learned about the DLC during Guardian Con.
