Destiny 2 beta guide: how to trigger the infinite Super glitch
Supers charge extra-slow in the Destiny 2 beta, but there's a trick you can use to always have an active Super - at least in the strike.
The glitch was discovered by bakengangsta, who managed to replicate it enough times in The Inverted Spire strike. When done successfully, you remain in a Super state, let's call it, until you die.
So far, it's been done with the Sentinel Titan, Arcstrider Hunter, and Dawnblade Warlock. Here's how to trigger it, according to this Reddit post.
In the first encounter in The Inverted Spire strike, wait for the Pikes to arrive by killing adds. Down a Fallen off their Pike, and pop your Super while getting on one.
You should see your character holding the weapon you get when your super is ready (shield, staff etc). Now all you need to do is switch to a different primary weapon in the menu, then back again to the one you had.
You should now have the shield, staff, or blade equipped for the rest of the strike. This GIF from Luckyy and Buttwipe's livestream shows it being done.
These next one demonstrates that it can work on other classes. It's pretty amazing that you can stay in this state for the duration of the strike.
The Inverted Spire is also home to another glitch, the infinite ammo one.
The Destiny 2 beta is now live on PS4 for pre-order players, and those with early access codes. It goes live for the same group on Xbox One, before opening up to all on Friday.
