Destiny 2 The Last Wish Raid - Power Level Requirement, Forsaken Raid Guide
Here's all the information you need on the brand new Destiny 2 Gambit mode, as well as The Last Wish Raid, Forsaken Exotic weapons, and the Ace of Spades.
The Last Wish was the second full Raid mission to hit Destiny 2, and it arrived as part of the overall Forsaken DLC expansion for the game. In this Destiny 2 Last Wish Raid guide, we'll be providing you with a general overview of the Raid mission that takes place in the Dreaming City, including the base Destiny 2 Last Wish Raid level requirement that you'll need to hit before you can undertake the mission.
If you instead need anything else at all to do with the latest DLC expansion to hit Bungie’s FPS, you’ll want to head over to our Destiny 2 Forsaken guide. It’s on this page that you can find everything you need to know about the new expansion, including every Legendary and Exotic weapon that we’ve found so far, including the powerful Lord of Wolves and Cayde’s Ace of Spades Exotic weapons.
Destiny 2 The Last Wish Raid Guide
Basically, the setup for the new Destiny 2 Raid is this: the Dreaming City has been corrupted by an unknown force, and our Fireteam is being sent into the city to clear out this evil force. Check out the Dreaming City trailer for a sneak preview of the location of the Raid, or head over to our Destiny 2 Dreaming City guide, for information on how to unlock the new location in the Forsaken expansion.
Destiny 2 Last Wish Raid Level Requirements
Now that The Last Wish Raid has finally gone live for those with the Forsaken expansion, we now know that the Power level requirement for the Raid is 550. This isn't all that far away from the maximum Power level cap of 600 for the Forsaken expansion, so if you're not quite there yet, you might want to get grinding now.
As we mentioned previously, it took a Fireteam 18 straight hours of playing, in order to best the new Last Wish Raid. Check out the opening few hours of the new Forsaken Raid just below, courtesy of IGN.
The Last Wish is without a doubt the single biggest Destiny Raid to date, outweighing any mission from the original game, or the sequel. After the Raid was beaten, a brand new Strike opened up in The Dreaming City for all players to undertake. It's called The Corrupted, and offers up a taster of the gameplay you can expect in the final Raid.
Earlier in the week, one Destiny 2 Fireteam actually managed to make it into the Raid ahead of time. There’s a loot chest that’s opened right at the end of the video, which grants a Helm of the Great Hunt item, at a pretty impressive Power level 511.
This might be the end of our Destiny 2 guide on The Last Wish Raid for now, but we’ll be adding more information to this guide whenever it’s revealed. For now though, you can head over to our Destiny 2 Ace of Spades guide for a walkthrough of how to get your hands on Cayde’s Exotic weapon, or our Destiny 2 Gambit guide, for if you want to blast through the brand new mode.
