Destiny 2 Forsaken's new weapons and armour look freaking spectacular
Bungie is showing off some of the wonderful new weapons and armour you can collect in Destiny 2: Forsaken.
Destiny 2: Forsaken is looking to shake up its previous formula in various ways, but what does that mean for your loot? According to a new trailer from Bungie, it means you'll have access to an impressive collection of weapons and armor with exciting gameplay bonuses.
Let's start with the weapons. First up is the Two-Tailed Fox, a rocket launcher that fires two projectiles at once for increased multikill potential. Next is the Trinity Ghoul, a bow where precision kills charge up powerful electrical storm arrows. Then you have the Malfeasance, a pistol where five consecutive hits will detonate an explosion. For melee-based Guardians, the Black Talon is a sword that also carries projectile blasts.
If that's not enough, there's One Thousand Voices will fire a deadly explosive beam. The Wish-Ender is a stealth-inspired bow with penetrating arrows that lets you see enemies through walls. Finally, there's the Ace of Spades, which grants extra damage when you reload after a kill.
And that's just weapons - the armour is awe-inspiring as well. Take Antaeus Wards, which reflect projectile attacks while your Guardian is sliding. The Sixth Coyote grants you a Double Dodge ability. Meanwhile, Chromatic Fire triggers elemental explosions from every precision kill with a kinetic weapon.
Unfortunately, we have to wait until September 4, 2018 before trying out these features, although revised weapons slots will arrive early. Destiny 2: Forsaken will launch simultaneously for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
