Destiny 2: Forsaken now includes the Annual Pass
Bungie has made the Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass part of the base Forsaken version.
As promised, the Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass - essentially a season pass that includes three DLC packs, is now free to all owners of base Forsaken. This also means that anyone buying Forsaken starting now will automatically receive Annual Pass content for free.
On the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store - and soon on Steam - you'll find the Forsaken Complete Edition, which includes everything in Year 1 (base Destiny 2 + expansions) as well as Forsaken, and the Forsaken Annual Pass.
It's worth noting that not all Forsaken content will be available in the upcoming free-to-play version Destiny 2: New Light. Only select activities, such as strikes, freeroam destinations and Crucible will be available for free.
The main meat of Forsaken - like the story campaign - can only be accessed by purchasing Forsaken. This also includes all raids, dungeons and Exotic Quests. This will remain the case after Shadowkeep launches on Steam. In other words, you're not wasting your money buying Forsaken today.
Shadowkeep is out October 1 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
