Destiny 2: Shadowkeep's Deathbringer rocket launcher will sing you a lullaby of death
Deathbringer is one of the next rocket launchers set to appear in the upcoming Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.
The purple-hued Deathbringer leaked over Twitter today in a series of pictures showing its profile screen and stats.
The weapon has 750 attack, 15 rounds per minute, and a ridiculously high blast radius. "Sing them a lullaby of death and nothing more," reads its description.
Another tweet offers a glimpse at the launcher's perk info, describing an ability called "Dark Deliverance" which fires remotely detonated projectiles that drop Void orbs on enemies.
Deathbringer was first shown during PAX West this year as one of two new Exotic weapons coming to the Shadowkeep expansion.
The release of Shadowkeep was recently delayed in an effort to "get the game to the level of quality it needs." Last week, Bungie's Scott Taylor told VG247 of the studio's plans to delay the expansion's release until October 1. Shadowkeep was originally set to launch September 17.
Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is Bungie’s first major expansion after the studio split from long-time publisher Activision. The move was reportedly amicable, and rose from the two companies having different ideas about the future of Destiny. The expansion will introduce sweeping changes to the way equipment works, in what Bungie is calling “Armor 2.0”.
