Check out the Death Stranding PC launch trailer here

The Death Stranding PC launch trailer is now live, giving prospective players an idea of what to expect when it arrives on Steam tomorrow, July 14.

You can check out the official Death Stranding PC launch trailer in the video embedded below.

"Remember Sam," says the ridiculously named Die-Hardman. "Every parcel is a promise made to a person in need. And they're counting on you to deliver."

The trailer also features some of the new details that are unique to the PC version, including a 21:9 ultrawide support mode and a Very Hard difficulty setting. Plus, there's loads of Half-Life stuff in there, like Gravity Gloves and an official Half-Life BRIDGES truck.

It's not all new, though - there are still loads of massive whales thrashing about in some sort of post-apocalyptic, liquid tarmac, so if you already enjoyed Death Stranding on PS4 and want to give it another whirl on PC, you'll find loads of the same weird s**t you fell in love with last time around.

Or, in some cases, hated last time around - it's still the same old babies-in-pods, massive gunk demons with gold masks, what-the-f**k-is-going-on deal, which lots of people weren't necessarily enamored with. I was though, and actually wrote a bit of a plot summary, if you fancy jogging your memory on what the story with Death Stranding's beaches and bridge babies was.

You can pre-load Death Stranding on Steam now, if you'd like to have it ready to go as soon as it unlocks tomorrow. If you've never played and are on the fence about whether or not to give it a whack, check out our Death Stranding review.

In related news, Kojima was recently asked about whether or not he considered himself a prophet for releasing Death Stranding ahead of the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m not a prophet," he said. "But if I was, I probably would have created a game that would sell more."
