Deadly Premonition director Swery working on a new game, The Missing
Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro, director of cult classics Deadly Premonition, and D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die has announced that he's working on a new game called The Missing.
The Missing is the first in-house project for Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro's White Owls studio. Swery is teaming up with Arc System Works to publish the game.
Arc System Works is of course well known for making many highly-acclaimed fighting games, the most recent of which being Dragon Ball FighterZ. In an announcement video, Swery didn't reveal much about the game, but promised that it would "blow your mind."
It sounds pretty early, though, as we didn't get any footage. Swery added that Arc System Works is giving him complete freedom to make a unique game.
This isn't Arc System Works' first publishing gig, either. The studio previously published Under Night In-Birth, and has recently opened a branch in North America.
No platforms or release date were revealed for The Missing. We don't even what type of game it's going to be, but Swery's fans will no doubt be excited to hear he's making a new game nonetheless.
