Deadly Premonition sequel is coming to Nintendo Switch, original now out on eShop

One of today's big Nintendo Direct announcements truly took everyone by surprise.
That being Deadly Premonition 2, of course, a sequel to Hidetaka "Swery65" Suehiro's cult classic. The Deadly Premonition sequel, called Deadly Premonition: A Blessing In Disguise, will arrive on Nintendo Switch in 2020.
In the meantime, you can now play the original Deadly Premonition on Switch via the eShop, Nintendo announced during today's Direct presentation.
The original Deadly Premonition is an adventure horror game with some bizarre and endearing qualities. Despite its janky gameplay and offbeat characters, the game put its creator's name on the map. It first released in 2010 on Xbox 360 before making its way to PC and PS3 in 2013.
