Dead Rising 2 gets the Playboy treatment

Capcom's bringing the Bunnies to Dead Rising 2 thanks to a partnership with Playboy magazine.

According to the press release, a special edition of the gentleman's slap mag will be "discoverable" in the game, allowing players to achieve "a unique and special upgrade" for Chuck Greene.

Playboy ads and billboards featuring "specially selected issues" from the magazine’s 57-year history will also be present throughout the game.

Along with the special Playboy issue, there will be "a variety of different themed magazines" that Chuck will be able to pick up for bonuses, just like the book system from the first game.

From what we've seen in the screenshots below, it looks like there may even be a Playboy club in the game.

Dead Rising 2's out on August31 in the US and  September 3 in the UK on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

A prequel known as Case Zero will hit Xbox Live before the main game’s release, although a date has not been decided yet. Details on that are here.
