Dead or Alive 5 Plus demo due around launch
Team Ninja has promised a demo for Vita fighter Dead or Alive 5 Plus, to release "close to" launch later this month, as well as dropping a stack of new gameplay information.
The demo comes with PlayStation 3 cross-play, so you can check out how this feature works before committing, and if you do decide to pick it up you can carry your demo save over should you unlock any gooides or just want to hold onto your progress. It includes eight stages (Scramble, The Show, The Tiger Show, Coming Soon, Zack Island, Dead or Alive, Arrival and Dojo), which is pretty generous for a taster, and offers playable versions of Kasumi, Hayabusa, Eliot or Tina as well as the chance to fight any opponent.
The demo's release date is expected soon; the fighter itself launches on Vita on March 19 in the US and March 22 in Europe.
While it was in touch with press, Team Ninja released a new trailer and screens - see below - and shared a few new snippets of detail. There will be some sort of analysis mode or tool allowing players to "break down the results of each attack in real time", showing damage output, effects, and other information.
You'll be able to set background music for characters for the first time in the franchise's history, and replay scenes from Story mode. New tutorial and combo challenge modes provide extra training.
