Dead Island: Epidemic's closed beta registration opens, grants early-access

Dead Island: Epidemic developer Techland has opened the game's closed-beta registration process. Taking part will also make you eligible for early access to the ZOMBA, which stands for Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Adventure if you were wondering.

CVG reports that Epidemic is a Steam-exclusive title, in which three teams of four must fight each other and the zombie horde for dominance. There's also a deep crafting system stays true to the core Dead Island titles.
It's currently unclear when the beta will kick off but we'll update you once we know the dates.
