Deacon from Fallout 4 reading Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven has absolutely made our day
Fallout 4 and Edgar Allan Poe fans alike will probably enjoy this immensely.
I know I did, being a both a Fallout and EAP geek as far back as I can remember.
Okay, maybe not that far back, because I can recall sitting in my highchair at my great-grandmother's kitchen table feeding her doberman cheerios one at a time. Fallout wasn't around back then, nor was I able to read anything let alone something written by the tortured genius. Jeez, I went off on a tangent again, didn't I? Just ignore me and move along.
Created by none other than UpIsNotJump, the Fallout 4 video you see above features Ryan Alosio, who provided the voice for Deacon in Fallout 4, reading The Raven. All animations were created using Nexus Mods.
"Ryan is an incredible guy and we will be making loads more Fallout 4 modded Machinima,"according to UpIsNotJump. "Our future work will focus a lot more on everyone's favorite Fallout companion, Deacon.
"It is funny the character I use to make my videos is always Deacon because he is easily the best follower in Fallout 4. So after watching some of my Fallout 4 mods, [Alosio] got in touch on instagram and suggested we work on a Fallout 4 collaboration.
"We are both fond of old poems, especially The Raven, so we decided to give it a go and make something crazy."
If you'd like to keep up with the latest on UpIsNotJump, be sure to sub to his YouTube channel. Ryan Alosio has an active Instagram account if you're interested on the latest updates, and you can also listen to his performance reels on Vimeo.
If you two plan on doing more Poe, and are taking requests, please do Annabel Lee next. Or Ulalume, maybe A Dream Within a Dream.
