Dark Souls Remastered announced for PC, PS4, Xbox One with 4K and 60fps

Dark Souls Remastered is real, and it's not just coming to Nintendo Switch, but to all other platforms as well.

After rumours about a Dark Souls remaster culminated in a report this morning, Nintendo and Bandai Namco announced moments ago that Dark Souls Remastered is in fact coming to Nintendo Switch.

Now, the publisher has confirmed the other part of the rumour: Dark Souls Remastered is also headed to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Scheduled to release on the same day, May 25, the remaster will be enhanced for PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X.

Dark Souls Remastered will support an upscaled 4K resolution and 60fps, though only on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC. On Switch, the game will run at 1080p, 30fps when docked.

All versions include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, and will utilise dedicated servers for up to six-player multiplayer and co-op. No other technical details were revealed. We only have the announcement trailer, which sadly doesn't feature any gameplay footage.
