Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin release moved up in EU, new screenshots

New screenshots for Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin have been released along with the news the game would release in Europe the same day as in North America.
The new images "highlight the updated graphics," enemy placements and the new Forlorn NPC invader.
A free update is now available for existing Dark Souls 2 owners which provides access to The Scholar, a new NPC which sheds light on the story, expanded item descriptions, online matchmaking improvements and other gameplay tweaks.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin will be made available April 2 on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
