Customise your PS4 with a LittleBigPlanet 3 or The Order:1886 faceplate
PS4 owners will soon be able to trick out their consoles with faceplates, enlivening the solid colours of standard editions.
The PS4 faceplates are part of an initiative called Project SkyLight, which looks to be something of an experiment for Sony.
The platform holder has produced a very limited quantity of two faceplates - The Order: 1886 and LittleBigPlanet 3. Both cost $25 and are only available through the Sony Store while stocks last.
"We are planning on launching new faceplate designs in the near future so check back often. We are also planning a few other fun enhancements to this personalization initiative and will have more to share soon," Sony's John Koller wrote on the PlayStation Blog.
"We’d love to get your feedback on the designs you’d like to see as we work on ways to make your PS4 more personalized to fit your style."
I really hope we see faceplates for Bloodborne and Uncharted 4. I'd personally love a Destiny or Dragon Age: Inquisition one, if third parties want to get on board.
