Crytek: Russian gamers are "hardcore", can "survive anything"

The Warface development team seems quite pleased with the reception the free-to-play shooter is getting in Russia.
Speaking to Kotaku, the Crytek Kiev team said that Russian gamers are "hardcore"; they enjoy high difficulty and realism, like recoil on guns and fewer visual aids.
"Oh, yeah. I enjoy the Russian market. They will survive anything," one of the developers said.
Warface is also being tested in China, where things are quite different.
"In China it's ok to pay for the advantage. But in Russia, they won't play that kind of game," Crytek said.
Warface is expected to spread to other territories some time this year, apparently thanks to Trion.
