Crytek has "big plans" for Crysis 3 DLC, but isn't dropping hints
Crysis 3 developer has confirmed it has big plans for its DLC slate, but isn't giving up any solid details. To be fair, it makes a change from being hounded by day-one DLC news before a game's even out.
It's a short one this, but speaking with CVG, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli was asked if gamers could expect any DLC beyond the typical map pack fodder.
He replied, "We're still exploring that. We have some plans in mind that we can't disclose yet, but we are going to wait a little bit to see how the beta's running and how the game does for the first few days. We do have a big plan to support it."
See? That's quite vague isn't?
Meanwhile, Yerli has happily discussed why next-gen console specs won't be able to match modern gaming PCs, why Crytek will move from paid to free-to-play over the next five years, and why next-gen launch games won't look much different to Crysis 3.
