Speaking on its site, Criterion has said its ambitious DLC plans for Burnout Paradise will make radical changes to the game in the coming year.

"You may have noticed us referring to our future new content by codenames. Just to clarify – you’ll see them in this order 'Cagney', then 'Davis' and then 'Eastwood'. What we’re working on now goes way beyond conventional content updates, so we figured the usual 1.1, 1.2 version numbers didn’t do it justice. We will TRANSFORM Paradise over the coming year, and we won’t hold back on this blog. Our goal is to bring you EVERYTHING - as soon as we have it. We want to tell you what we’re making and why. We want to know what you think and you better believe we’re listening to what you have to say."

New islands and car liveries have been promised so far, but keep a close eye on the site to find out when you're going to be getting some of this stuff. Or keep a close eye on this one, and we'll tell you. Either or.
