Crackdown 3 reviews round-up, all the scores
Nearly five years after its initial reveal, Crackdown 3 is finally ready for primetime.
Crackdown 3, the Xbox One exclusive many nearly gave up on, is just a day away. Crackdown 3 brings the irreverent, open-world collectathon formula the franchise is well known for to a new generation.
The game features a co-op campaign, letting you pick from many agents; each offering different abilities. Then there's multiplayer, Wrecking Zone. The mode's main gimmick is its reliance on Microsoft's servers to offer massive-scale destruction not possible on Xbox hardware.
Outside of that, Wrecking Zone is very basic. Bizarrely, however, the mode doesn't support playing with friends at launch. This could be added post launch.
As with all first-party Microsoft games, the game will be available on PC, with support for cross-platform saves, and Achievements. It's also part of Xbox Game Pass, joining the service on day one.
Games that get delayed as often as Crackdown 3 has rarely deliver when they do release, but let's hope Crackdown 3 bucks the trend. See how it did in our round-up below:
