Crackdown 2 viral movie details back-story, intros Catalina Thorne [Update]

Original: Ruffian and Microsoft have released an excellent Crackdown 2 animation detailing the "hell" that is the game's ruined Pacific City, paving the way for more episodes and introducing Ms Catalina Thorne.

The new Pacific City is not a nice place. Peacekeeping police types are murdered on the street, and night brings the mutant threat. Grim.

Catalina holds the key to the town's demise, following the Agency's win at the end of the first Crackdown. Who is she? Keep watching.

Crackdown 2 will be brilliant. The crime-crushing sequel, developed by Scottish newbie Ruffian Games, releases on July 9.
