Conan: Rise of the Godslayer dated for May 11
Funcom has announced a date of May 11 for the first expansion to Age of Conan.
There is also a pre-order program in place for Rise of the Godslayer, should you wish to undertake the adventure into the lands of Khitai.
Available in both retail and digital form, the store bought version will include both the expansion and the original game, as was announced earlier in the month.
The pet included in the retail versions will immediately be given to all existing customers that pre-order before the launch date, as well as to all retail customers that register up until May 25.
Combined with this launch, Funcom is also introducing a digital Collector’s Edition optional upgrade, which among other things gives immediate access to a flying fighting pet. The upgrade to the digital Collector’s Edition is now available through the customer account page.
The soundtrack of the expansion content is simultaneously being made available in all major territories through Grappa records, including a bonus DVD with full 5.1 surround recording.
The soundtrack will also include a key that will unlock a unique in-game bone flute.
Gotta love bone flutes. They are the best, ya know.
You can get more information on the bonuses as well as catch up on all the new features through the official site.
