Conan Exiles has a new gameplay trailer, Steam Early Access release date
Conan Exiles finally has a launch date on Steam Early Access.
Funcom has announced that Conan Exiles, the open-world survival game based on Conan the Barbarian world, will launch on Steam Early Access on January 31. A release on Xbox One Game Preview will follow sometime in the spring.
The brutal and barbaric dark fantasy adventures in the Robert E. Howard books seem like the perfect setting for this type of game. Exiles can played in single-player as well as multiplayer, on either local or public servers.
Though it does share a few things with top games in the genre like Ark and Rust, the game has a few unique features of its own such as scarifying enemies, summoning massive gods, and similar, Conan-inspired elements.
It's been a while since Funcom released footage of the game, too. After recently revealing updated the graphics and art direction, the new trailer above shows decent progress.
The footage is captured from the PC versions, and shows off a decent chunk of the things you'll be able to go in the game come January.
A full release has yet to be dated.
