Guild Wars 2: How to complete the Memorabilia achievement

Guild Wars 2 has a tonne of quests, missions and achievements available, and Memorabilia has remained an elusive achievement for most players. We’re going to look at how to obtain this quest and, more importantly, how to finish it.

Memorabilia is an achievement where you collect items related to Sonu’s past. As he is an Awakened, this quest centres around finding his notes and piecing together memories.

To start this achievement, you must collect Notes to Myself in a cave behind Rilohn Falls. A Springer is required to reach the notes. They must then be brought to the Distraught Awakened, Sonu, located at the west edge of Yatendi Village. Once you have brought the notes to Sonu, he will be available at Sun's Refuge near Amira the awakened armour smith.

Speak to Sonu and accept the quest Memorabilia. Click on the pop-up to look at the quest log and under A Star to Guide Us you will find the objectives for the achievement.

We’ve listed these next steps in the order they appear in your journal, but they can be completed in any order. YouTube user AyinMaiden has a brilliant video to help guide you through this achievement.

You’ll want to head North to the Ancestor Tree in the north of Ruined Procession, where you’ll find a toy boat on the rocks beside the water. Collect this to continue.

Then head west of Venta Pass and find the golden frame in the old house. On the ground, in front of the frame, there will be a circle. Stand in the circle and use the cry emote to complete this section.

Next, head to the Treasure Race starting area, east of the Fortress of Jahai dome and wait for the race to start. Make sure you speak with Arbiter Lo Loju to enter the Inner Keep. A Point of Interest will appear on the minimap, so head towards it until you find the lute beside some large rocks.

Travel along the east of the Rilohn River, keeping your eye out for some scaled drakes and bushes, where you’ll find some Desert Flowers under a large bush.

Head to Port Yatendi Village and jump up to the branded area above the waypoint. Use the threaten emote near the bushes. You’ll immediately be under attack, so be prepared.

You’ll then want to go to Port to Soul’s Vendetta and head towards the building under Argon Garrison vista. Stand beside the sword that looks similar to the Dusk Experiment and use the salute emote.

Go to the graveyard in the northwest area of Crescent’s Prosperity. Stand in the centre of the graveyard so that you can see all of the tombstones. Starting from the right, use the kneel emote at tombstones one, three and seven in that order.

Once you’ve gathered all the items, the achievement Memorabilia will pop up. Completing this will also give credit towards the Full House achievement. You’ll be rewarded with Volatile Singularity, which you can “double click to feed Volatile Magic and gain random items in return”, three AP points and a chest.
