Congrats to our winners @ShockFuel and @Bullet23n. We'll be in touch shortly.
It follows my detailed Eve: Rubicon interview, in which CCP revealed tons of details about its expansion plans for the next three or four releases. Check it out through the link.
CCP has kindly offered us two of its Eve Online: Collector's Edition box sets, which were created to commemorate the start of the MMO's second decade. All you have to do to enter is ask for one in the comment field below. Then tomorrow, Friday 13 we'll use a random number generator to pick two numbered comments, and two winners
It's that simple. No hash-tags, no jumping through flaming hoops for us on a motorbike. All we ask is that you leave your Twitter handle so we can contact you if you win. Here's the important bit you need to know in bold:
Be sure to follow us on Twitter at @VG247 if you enter though or we won't be able to DM you. Once this is over you can unfollow us, it's entirely up to you. This is open to UK and European entrants only this time. Sorry everyone else.
So what's in the box?
- Into the Second Decade, a 190-page, richly illustrated hardcover book commemorating the first 10 years of the EVE Universe. Into the Second Decade details the initial release of EVE Online, and chronicles its growth through the game’s numerous free expansions, the community events that helped define the experience, and the launch of DUST 514.
- “Rifter” USB hub, a four-port USB hub modeled on an iconic EVE Online ship.
- EVE Symphony CD, a live performance of the signature EVE soundtrack by the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra, recorded in Reykjavik during EVE Fanfest 2013.
- The Danger Game board game, an English-language adaptation of the popular Icelandic board game. Created by a fledgling CCP in 1998, The Danger Game (Icelandic:Hættuspil) helped fund development of the original EVE Online release.
- (And obviously Eve: Online itself.)
There you have it. There's some photos of the goodies below. Enter in the comments and we'll pick two winners at some point tomorrow.
Good luck!
