Colossatron: Massive World Threat arrives on Android, iOS next week
Colossatron: Massive World Threat is just one week away; brace yourself for the latest mobile life-eater from the developer of Fruit Ninja and Jeptpack Joyride.
Colossatron: Massive World Threat will launch simultaneously on the App STore and Google Play on December 19. Pricing has not been revealed.
As previously reported, Colossatron is inspired by 80's cartoons, and has players in the role of an alien beast from the depths of space, destroying everything in their path.
Colossatron: Massive World Threat boasts seven continents with multiple missions each including an assault on the capital. Gameplay is described as "very simple, yet incredibly strategic" as players collect multi-colored Powercores to add to Colossatron's length, combining them in specific patterns to unlock the beast's full potential.
"For example, combining red and blue creates a purple Powercore. Matching three yellows together creates an even more powerful Supercore. Where should the shields be placed? Which power is active for green – proximity repair or plasma cannon? There are thousands of combinations, and each game will play out entirely differently. This is not tower defence – this is tower offence," Halfbrick wrote.
