Codemasters hiring staff for new F1 browser game
Codemasters is hiring for its new browser-based Formula One game.
The game, which was first revealed in an interview by Codies CEO Rod Cousens back in November last year, is being developed at the publisher's Southam studio.
"Formula One is incredibly popular in many countries around the world, particularly in countries where online gaming is either already big or rapidly growing such as India, Brazil, Korea and China, the potential is clear," said Codies Online GM, David Solari.
"We have proven F1 is a major games brand and what we have planned will build upon that."
The new title will offer "an innovative design approach to car control" as well as give "persistence and depth of gameplay for a mainstream online gaming audience."
No date was given.
Codemasters released the successful F1 2010 last September, with an F1 2011 also due to be release later this year.
