CoD WW2 Shadowed Throne Zombies Guide
The Shadowed Throne Zombies map is out right now for PS4 players only, as part of the brand new War Machine DLC pack, which marks the second DLC release for the game. It'll be out roughly a month later for both PC and Xbox One owners, so expect it to launch for both platforms right around the middle of May.
When you kick off the Shadowed Throne Zombies map, you'll find yourself in the middle of what seems to be a collapsed hotel, with a basement area with several routes to the higher floor. There's not a huge lot of space to work with here, so we'd recommend grabbing a sawed off shotgun or STG44 for a few Jolts, and then unlocking the door to the Main Street as quickly as possible for 1200 Jolts.
In the Main Street area you'll be out in the open, where you can purchase a MP40 for 1000 Jolts, which is a bargain for how powerful the weapon is in the early rounds. At this point you can go two ways, unlocking the theatre area to the right, or the museum area to the left, both of which require 1500 Jolts. What you want to do is unlock one of these straight away, and then unlock the route to the second part of Main Street that you'll find at the back of both these locations, which will again set you back by 1500 Jolts.
This second area of Main Street functions as a courtyard, with an excellent propeller trap that you can activate for 1000 Jolts, as well as the option to purchase the BAR for 1500 Jolts, from just out the back of the Theatre area. We'd recommend purchasing the BAR as soon as you've got the Jolts to spare, since it's definitely one of the best weapons available on the Shadowed Throne Zombies map.
Once you've stacked up 1500 Jolts, you're going to want to unlock the Church area at the very back of the map, as this is where the Mystery Box is hiding. It's not near the beginning of the map as it is with the base Zombies map in CoD WW2, but it's instead located at the very back of the entire Shadowed Throne map.
CoD WW2 Shadowed Throne Blitz Upgrade Locations
Just below, we'll list the complete locations of all the Blitz Upgrades in the Shadowed Throne Zombies map, as well as how many Jolts they'll each set you back by.
- Increased sprint speed and stamina - Located right in the center of the first Main Street area, you can purchase this Blitz Upgrade for 2000 Jolts.
- Electrical attack on reload - You can find this Blitz Upgrade on the upper level of the ruined theatre, off to the right of the first Main Street area. It'll cost you 2000 Jolts.
- Increased melee damage - This Blitz Upgrade is found on the upper floor of the Museum area, and will cost you a total of 2000 Jolts.
- Increased weapon damage - Located right in the middle of the second Main Street area, right by the propeller trap, this Blitz Upgrade will cost you 2000 Jolts.
- Faster reload speed - The final Blitz Upgrade on the Shadowed Throne map is also the most expensive, coming in at 3000 Jolts. It can be found on the raised area at the front of the Church, looking out onto Main Street.
