Treyarch community boss Josh Olin has told MCV that Call of Duty: Black Ops will "exceed expectations", and that it'll let the game "speak for itself".

"Modern Warfare 2 is an extremely successful entertainment launch, record selling, which is absolutely phenomenal," Olin told the site at an Activision pre-E3 event in London this week.

"“Every Call of Duty game has ratcheted the bar up for the next one, and we’re just ratcheting up the bar one step further. I think Black Ops is going to exceed expectations. This game is going to be huge."

He went on to add:"We’re going to let Black Ops speak for itself.

"We’re always trying to make the best game we can possibly make, and with Black Ops it really is the best work we’ve ever done."

He admits there will be some massive competition to come before and after the release of the shooter, such as Medal of Honor, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and more.

But Olin says Black Ops will "stand out in true Call Of Duty fashion", adding it'll "be a big year" for Treyarch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on November 9 for PS3, 360, Wii and PC.
