Club Nintendo hacked in Japan, user details possibly compromised

Nintendo's Kyoto headquarters has confirmed that its Club Nintendo reward network has been hacked, potentially leaving the names and account details of Japanese members exposed.
Nintendo announced the hack on its Japanese site, confirming that between June 9 and July 4 it found some 23,000 unauthorized log-ins resulting in 15 million log-in attempts in total.
While credit card information is not stored on the service, it is possible that the names, addresses, phone numbers, and email details of users have been exposed.
The company has now locked all user passwords and is urging members to make new ones.
