Lovely Steam Early Access title Cloud Gardens is heading to Xbox consoles this year
Indie game dev Noio announced today during the Twitch+Xbox showcase that Cloud Gardens is coming to Xbox consoles this year.
Cloud Gardens is about reclaiming an abandoned wasteland is already available for PC through Steam Early Access, but it will be coming to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
What’s more, there’s also a major industrial-themed update coming to the Steam version of the game today, with all new plants, levels, and objects for Gardeners to enjoy.
In Cloud Gardens, players must harness the power of nature to "overgrow lo-fi scenes of urban decay and manufactured landscapes." They can create in sandbox mode, or dive into a multi-chapter campaign to hone their skills as a cultivator to unlock a variety of plant life.
Featured in the industrial update:
- Fourteen extra levels, new gnome audio effects, and over fifty+ inorganic objects to scatter around.
- Pine trees.
- Myriad quality of life improvements: advanced keyboard controls, an auto item grabber, and a complete UI overhaul.
- Free-cam option in photo mode.
Based in Amsterdam, Noio is a one-man studio founded by Thomas van den Berg whose previous projects include Kingdom and Kingdom: New Lands.
